Dear Central Vermont community,
My name is Matt Davide and I am the Chairperson/President of the Winooski Valley Music Association (WVMA). The WVMA is a district of over 40 music teachers from schools across central Vermont and has been supporting young musicians for over 50 years. Each year, WVMA hosts festivals that give students the chance to perform alongside peers from different schools, work with guest conductors from across Vermont and beyond, and grow as artists and leaders.

Due to rising costs (food for students, hotels for conductors etc.) we need your help to keep these opportunities accessible to our students. You can support WVMA in any of the following ways:

● Donate directly: checks can be made out to Winooski Valley Music Association and given to your local music teacher
● Spread the word: share this letter and tell others about WVMA’s impact on young musicians WVMA is currently applying for non-profit status and we hope that donations will soon be tax-deductible.
Our first district concert of the year is right around the corner: the Winooski Valley High School Festival Concert at 7pm at Harwood on Friday, November 21st featuring over 170 student musicians! We invite you to join us to celebrate the power of music in our community.
